I. Core Selection Tips: 3 Steps to Avoid Pitfalls
 
1. Material is Fundamental: Look for 304/316 Stainless Steel
 
• 304 Stainless Steel: The first choice for everyday household use. It meets chromium and nickel content standards, has strong corrosion resistance, easily handles normal bathroom moisture, and offers good value. The packaging should have "304" or "06Cr19Ni10" markings.
 
• 316 Stainless Steel: An advanced choice. It contains added molybdenum, offering stronger salt spray resistance and corrosion resistance. Suitable for coastal areas (high air salt content) or bathrooms with frequent water accumulation, it is slightly more expensive than 304.
 
• Avoid these pitfalls: Beware of "stainless iron" masquerading as stainless steel. A magnet test can help distinguish them (304/316 stainless steel has weak magnetism, while stainless iron is extremely magnetic). Prioritize branded products with material testing reports.
 
2. Details reveal quality: Load-bearing capacity and craftsmanship are essential.
 
• Load-bearing capacity: Bathroom handles should be sturdy enough for the elderly and children to use. Adult handles should have a load-bearing capacity of ≥50kg. High-quality products will indicate load-bearing parameters. The pipe wall thickness should be ≥1.2mm, feeling solid and stable.

• Check the fixing screws every 3 months. Tighten any loose screws immediately to prevent the base from detaching due to prolonged shaking. If the screws are rusty, replace them with stainless steel screws.
